A: For a standard order, the journey takes 35–60 days depending on product complexity. Yarn sourcing and knitting: 7–10 days. Dyeing and finishing at M.R. Garment Industries: 5–8 days. Fabric inspection, cutting, and stitching: 15–25 days. Final QC, labelling, and packing: 3–5 days. Rush orders can compress this to 20–25 days with expedited fees applied.
Q: At which stage can I request a production sample for approval?
A: We offer two key approval checkpoints. The first is the lab dip stage — a small dyed swatch for colour approval before full dyeing begins. The second is the pre-production (PP) sample — a complete finished garment for fit, construction, and label approval before bulk stitching starts. Both are standard practice and recommended for first-time orders.
Q: What happens to fabric that fails inspection at any stage?
A: Failed fabric is quarantined and tagged. Depending on severity, it is either re-processed (re-dyed, re-finished), downgraded to a lower specification if the defect doesn’t affect that spec, or rejected entirely and replaced. All failures are logged in our quality records. Nothing that fails a critical checkpoint proceeds to the next stage.
Q: Is your dyeing done in-house or outsourced?
A: Dyeing and finishing is handled by M.R. Garment Industries Pvt Ltd, our sister concern also located in S.I.T.E., Karachi. Both facilities share the same ownership, quality management system, and production standards. The proximity of the two plants (same industrial zone) means minimal transit time and full traceability from greige fabric to dyed output.
Q: How do you maintain colour consistency across large orders split into multiple batches?
A: Batch-to-batch colour consistency requires keeping the same dye formulation, dyeing temperature, bath ratio, and process time across all batches. At M.R. Garment Industries, each dye recipe is recorded and replicated exactly. A lab dip is approved first, and bulk production matches the approval standard within a Delta-E tolerance specified in the purchase order.
Q: What documentation do I receive with my finished order?
A: Standard documentation includes a packing list with SKU breakdown, a commercial invoice, a certificate of origin, and a quality inspection report. On request we can also provide fabric test reports (colorfastness, GSM, shrinkage), OEKO-TEX certificates for certified lots, and GOTS documentation if organic cotton was specified.
